The special edition white baseball-style jerseys featuring blue pin stripes the Quad City Mallards will wear in their game Friday, March 17 against the Missouri Mavericks at the iWireless Center will go up for bid in a live auction to benefit the Genesis Health Services Foundation immediately after that game.

The Mallards have teamed with KWQC-TV6 for the game-worn jersey auction, which was originally scheduled to follow the Mallards’ March 18 game against the Mavericks but has now been moved up one day.

The Mallards will don pin-striped jerseys that will feature their flying Mallard logo encircled by the letters “QC” on the left side of the chest. The jerseys will also sport the Mallards’ secondary duck foot logo in red on the shoulders as well as royal blue numbers trimmed in red. Pin-striped socks will complete the Mallards’ unique look.

The March 17 event is the Mallards’ second game-worn jersey auction of the season. The twentieth season mash-up jerseys the Mallards wore against the Fort Wayne Komets on January 14 and auctioned off after that game raised nearly $18,000 for the Genesis Health Services Foundation. Over the last two decades, Mallards jersey auctions have raised over $800,000 to benefit Genesis Health System charities.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including the March 17 contest- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
