KNIGHT RECALLED BY IOWA

Forward Jared Knight has been recalled from the Quad City Mallards by the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild, the Mallards announced today.

Knight, 24, returns to Iowa after being assigned to the Mallards last Monday and playing three games for the Mallards last week. Knight has scored three goals and picked up two assists in a total of eight games with the Mallards this season. He scored his first career shorthanded goal in the Mallards’ 4-2 victory over Utah last Wednesday. He has scored once and added six assists in 34 games with Iowa this season.

The Mallards return to action on the road Wednesday night against the Evansville IceMen. The Mallards next play at home Sunday, March 20 at 4:05 p.m. against the Indy Fuel. The first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under through the doors for the March 20 game will receive free Mallards youth replica jerseys courtesy of WQAD News 8.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including the March 20 contest- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $24.
