MALLARDS SEND FIDDLER TO ONTARIO TO COMPLETE LAMOUREUX TRADE

By: Mallards Communications Staff

The Quad City Mallards have sent forward Todd Fiddler to the Ontario Reign to complete the trade that brought forward Mario Lamoureux to the Mallards earlier this season, the Mallards announced today.

Fiddler, a 21-year old rookie, scored 13 goals and totaled 27 points in 50 games with the Mallards this season.  Before turning pro with the Colorado Eagles last spring, Fiddler spent just over four seasons in the major junior Western Hockey League.

Lamoureux has shined since joining the Mallards in exchange for future considerations in October.  The third-year centerman, who has scored 17 goals in 55 games, ranks fourth in the ECHL in assists (49) and is tied for eighth in the league in points.

The Mallards return to action tonight at 7:05 p.m. on home ice against the Allen Americans.  This evening is John Deere Community Night.  2,000 tickets for tonight's game are available for just $5 courtesy of John Deere while supplies last.  Also tonight, the first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under through the doors will receive free Mallards youth replica jerseys presented by KWQC-TV6.

Tickets for all remaining Mallards regular season home games- including tonight’s contest- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000.  The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.  Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $28.
