Biography:
Globke scored five goals and added 12 assists for 17 points in 29 games as a rookie with the Toledo Walleye last season.
Globke turned professional last year after spending three seasons at Lake Superior State University. He produced 21 goals, 28 assists and 49 points in 100 career collegiate games. He was named a Western Collegiate Hockey Association Scholar Athlete in both 2014-15 and 2015-16 and was also honored as Lake Superior State’s Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2014-15. Globke was named to the 2013-14 WCHA All-Rookie team after he not only led the Lakers in points (31) but also finished first among all WCHA rookies in goals (12), assists (19) and points.
Before heading to LSSU, Globke played two seasons in the junior ranks with the Port Huron Fighting Falcons of the North American Hockey League and the Carleton Place Canadians of the Central Canada Hockey League. In 2011-12, he helped Port Huron to a division title and berth in the NAHL’s Roberston Cup national championship tournament.
